2010 Raleigh Christmas Parade

The 2010 Raleigh Christmas Parade will be held Saturday November 20, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. in downtown Raleigh. The 66th Annual Raleigh Christmas parade route, approximately 1.4 miles and last about 2.5 hours, will begins on Hillsborough Street at St. Mary’s Street starting at 9:30 a.m. The Parade telecast airs from 10:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. on WRAL-TV. It is rebroadcast on Christmas morning.

The Raleigh Christmas parade has been presented every year since 1944 by the Greater Raleigh Merchants Association. Drawing an estimated 60,000 spectators from across the state to downtown Raleigh and reaching more than 250,000 through television and live video streaming on WRAL.com, the parade is the largest single-day event in Raleigh each year. It is the largest parade between Atlanta and Washington, D.C.
