Le Mans 2010 - 24 Hours of Le Mans: Nigel Mansell, former Formula One world champion, crashed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 56 year-old Briton ran for the first time in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. He was immediately taken by ambulance to hospital but his health is in normal conditions.
24 Hours of Le Mans is the world's oldest sports car race in endurance racing, held annually since 1923 near the town of Le Mans, Sarthe, France. 24 Hours of Le Mans organized by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) and runs on a circuit containing closed public roads that are meant not only to test a car and driver's ability to be quick, but also to last over a 24 hour period.
The race is also broadcast (in English) on radio by Radio Le Mans. Broadcast from the circuit for the full 24 hours as well as before and after, it offers fans at the race the ability to listen to commentary through radio. Radio Le Mans is also broadcast through internet radio on their website.
