Redstone Arsenal | Redstone Arsenal Explosion.A large chemical explosion at the Army's Redstone Arsenal on Wednesday reportedly killed 1 person and at least 1 injured. The chemical explosion happened on Redstone Arsenal while removing propellant from a rocket launcher. The explosion occurred at 8:45 a.m. at Building 7352, an Aviation Missile Research Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) facility in Test Area 10. The two victims were flown to hospitals; one to Birmingham and the other to Huntsville said Redstone Arsenal spokeswoman Kim Henry
