World’s Ugliest Dog Contest 2011

World’s Ugliest Dog Contest 2011. Yoda has been crown as World’s Ugliest Dog in the annual at the Sonoma Marin Fair. Along with the title of “The World’s Ugliest Dog,” the winner’s take home a $1000 prize and a trophy 15 times her size on Saturday morning.

Contestants come from all over the US to enter. It's part of the Dog Lover's Festival that takes place during the fair. The festival starts at noon on Friday and ends with the World's Ugliest Dog contest at 6 pm.

Yoda, from Hanford, California and is owned by Terry Schumacher a previously abandoned 14-year old Chinese Crested/chihuahua mix with a malformed nose, "short tufts of hair, protruding tongue, and long, seemingly hairless legs,"
