Lollapalooza 2011: First Round Tickets
Tickets of Lollapalooza 2011 went on sale Tuesday morning and sold out in just minutes. The next round of discounted tickets will go on sale April 5, 2011 at 10 a.m. The $185 Early Bird 3-Day Pass for the festival Aug. 5-7 in Grant Park has sold out in about an hour, and now only $215 three-day passes remain on its Web site, lollapalooza.com.
The Lollapalooza 2011 price for the three-day passes is the same as last year. Headliners haven’t been announced, but the Tribune has confirmed that Eminem, the Foo Fighters and Muse will be among those named when the lineup is officially announced April 26.
Lollapalooza is the hugely popular event in the United States since its creation in 1991 by Perry Farrell, singer with rock band Jane’s Addiction, and has taken place at Grant Park in Chicago since 2005.
