Head of the Charles 2010: The Head of the Charles Regatta is the world’s largest two-day regatta attracting more than 8,500 rowers and 300,000 spectators to the banks of the Charles River. Head of the Charles 2010 event attracts most of the top crews from colleges, high schools, and clubs worldwide.

The Head of the Charles Regatta is a major event that takes over the Charles River and surrounding streets for fair-like food, fun, music, and crew mania.

Memorial Drive (from the Cambridge Boat Club to Western Ave.) in Cambridge will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday, JFK Street to Eliot Street in Harvard Square will be closed from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
