Jimena Navarrete: Miss Universe 2010 winner.A 22-year-old beauty from Mexico Jimena Navarrete, bested 82 other women from all over the globe and crowned as Miss Universe 2010 Monday night. The first runner up is 24 year old Miss Jamaica Yendi Phillipps and second runner up 19-year old Miss Australia Jesinta Campbell. Miss Ukraine and Miss Philippines rounded out the top five.
Jimena Navarrete of Guadalajara was first to answer an interview question Monday night and the last of 83 contestants standing in the headline-grabbing pageant on the Las Vegas Strip.
Navarette received her crown in Las Vegas from last year’s winner, fellow Latina Stefania Fernandez, while donning a blazing red asymmetrical evening gown, bold chandelier earrings, and a bracelet with matching red stones.
Earlier in the show, The Roots and John Legend hit the stage to perform a medley that included their new single "Shine" off their forthcoming album "Wake Up!'
