Bump Technologies Inc. is a company whose software makes computer desktops appear to be 3-D. reported, Google Inc has acquired Bump Technologies Inc. Bump Technologies, which said it will close its service, lets users download the BumpTop software that gives desktops a 3-D look and helps group and manage files.

Bump Technologies first announced the acquisition April 30 on its website, without giving any financial details.
