Keli McGregor Found Dead Keli McGregor the Colorado Rockies president, was found dead in his hotel room in Salt Lake City on Tuesday. Keli McGregor, who parlayed a lifelong love of sports into a short stint in the NFL before embarking on a career in the baseball business. Keli McGregor death was likely due to natural causes, though it will be investigated by the city’s medical examiner’s office, the newspaper said, citing Salt Lake Detective Rick Wall.

McGregor was born on Jan. 23, 1962, in Primgahr, Iowa. A two-time All-American tight end at Colorado State. McGregor joined the Rockies in 1993 and was named president in October 2001. Colorado reached its first World Series in 2007 before being swept by the Boston Red Sox.
