American Idol Crystal Bowersox has been taken to the hospital for medical issues in Los Angeles on Tuesday for undisclosed reasons. Crystal Bowersox is American Idol Season 10 semifinalists.

Crystal Bowersox's hospitalization at the top of Tuesday night's live show. The Top 10 female semifinalists were originally scheduled to perform Tuesday, but American Idol producers made a last minute switch after Bowersox fell ill.

"Due to medical issues which would prevent Crystal Bowersox from performing tonight, the 10 male semifinalists will perform this evening, and the 10 female semifinalists will perform tomorrow night."
